Robert Leonard was a maker of dresses, coats and suits in a sedate style. Quite expensive in their day, the company's products appealed to the woman with a conservative yet elegant fashion sense.
This dress and jacket ensemble dates to the mid 1960s and was sold by the Mabel Raquet boutique in St. Petersburg, FL.
- Dress with matching jacket are both fashioned of bright lemon yellow silk shantung.
- Clever seaming on both pieces is top stitched and stops at the asymmetric pocket flaps.
- Dress is a classic shift with a touch of shaping at the waist.
- Dress closes at the back with a nylon zipper.
- Matching jacket closes with gold-tone buttons and bound buttonholes.
- Both pieces are completely lined in lemon yellow silky rayon.

CONDITION: Excellent – Set comes to you dry cleaned and ready to wear. There is a very faint water mark at the back neck of the dress. This is not at all noticeable and stands out much more in the strong photography lights.
