Oh, delish!  This vintage late 1950s party dress has an unusual removable halter strap so you get two looks in one!

• Fashioned of luxurious silk satin in emerald green and creamy ivory.
• Strapless bodice is boned for support.
• Halter strap is worn by slipping your arms through with the bows in front at the upper edge of the bodice.
• Halter strap is not currently attached, but can be sewn in place if desired.
• Full skirt has soft unpressed pleats.
• Attached netting petticoat for added fullness.
• Dress closes with a side metal zipper.
• Bodice lined in self-fabric.  Skirt lined in rayon chiffon.

  CONDITION: Very Good – Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.  I think the hem was meant to be a bubble, but it has been pressed flat many times over the years.  Not really a flaw, but if you steam out the crease, it may lie better.  There is a faint stain from an old spill on the skirt front hem (see last photo).  There is a worn spot on the front bodice near the top edge at the right side where the boning is.  This gets covered by the bow when you wear the halter strap.  Halter strap is not attached, but can be sewn in place if desired.  Price reflects condition.
