Vintage 70s POLLY HORNBURG Dress Silk Butterflies

Polly Hornburg was the designer and owner of the Calypso Shops on the islands of Bermuda and Jamaica. You can read more about her on my blog post here. This is a high quality garment with the finest of construction techniques used. And that fabric is simply stunning.

Dress is fashioned of silk shantung in vibrant turquoise with a beautiful butterfly and floral print in green and lilac.
Styled like a classic shirtwaist, this dress closes at the front with hidden buttons and hooks from collar to hips.
Long sleeves close with buttons at the cuffs.
Elastic at waist.
Original 2 1/2" wide sash belt is included.
Unlined.

CONDITION: Excellent – Dress is freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. There is a 1/4" spot on the right sleeve above the elbow. This is not noticeable in the print.
