This is one of those perfect little black dresses that can go from day to date with ease by just changing your accessories. Dating to the late 1940s, this dress is fashioned from black rayon crepe. The bodice is meant to be loose fitting above the tiny waist. The front is accented with decorative bound buttonholes and self fabric buttons. The 3/4 sleeves have fold-back cuffs and there are cotton filled shoulder pads. There are in-seam pockets at the hips. The dress closes with a side metal zipper and a short metal zipper at the back neck. It is unlined.
