Fabulous vintage late 1940’s to early 50’s swing coat is fashioned from rayon gabardine in the most wonderful shade of orange. Orange! Perfect for dreary days! The coat has full sleeves with deeply cut armholes and fold back cuffs. It closes with one large orange button at the front and is completely lined in orange rayon twill. There are heavy cotton-filled shoulder pads. Note: This color was very hard to capture with my camera. It is not as red as it appears, but rather a true orange. Original price – $125.00. CONDITION: Very good – This coat was stored uncovered in an attic for many years. I have had the coat dry cleaned, but faint grey surface soiling remains at the right shoulder, back of the collar, and sleeve cuffs. My dry cleaner said the soiling will continue to lighten with subsequent cleanings.
