Vintage 40s Wide Brim Floral Tilt Hat

This lovely hat dates to the 1940s and is quite unusual.  The crown is covered with pink and cream silk flowers on a cream buckram base.  The wide brim is of black straw.  The hat is meant to be worn tilted to the front over the brow.  There is an elastic cord that slips over the back of your head to hold the hat in place.  Measures 19 1/2" around the inside grosgrain hatband and is labeled size 20.  Brim is 4" wide.  Excellent condition.  The elastic cord has lost it's stretch.
