Greta Plattry was one of America’s best sportswear designers and her work was considered equal to Claire McCardell and Carolyn Schnurer. Her sundresses are always pretty, and this one is no exception. Fashioned of a large scale gingham check cotton in blue and pale green, this dress makes quite an impact from afar. The spaghetti straps are attached at the back with hand stitches, and can be altered to add up to another 2" to the length of the dress, if desired. The full skirt is pleated onto the waist. The dress closes with a center back metal zipper and is unlined. The bodice is boned for support. Note: We’ve shown this dress over a full crinoline that is not included.
