SOLD Vintage 50s JERRY PARNIS Full Skirt Dress Beaded Cotton Small bust 35
Jerry Parnis was the sister of her more famous sibling Mollie. She started designing in 1937 and her favorite fabric to work with was cotton. She uses it to great effect in this dress from the 1950s.
- Sheer but soft black cotton lawn is layered over a black polished cotton lining.
- Yoke and cap sleeves remain sheer over strapless bustier lining.
- Bodice is decorated with clusters of black beads and paillette sequins.
- Skirt forms a full circle when laid flat.
- Metal zipper at center back.
- Horsehair braid at hem.
- Netting petticoat attached inside.
- Note: We've shown this dress over an additional crinoline that is not included.

CONDITION: Excellent – Dress is freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. Netting petticoat has slits cut into it at the side seams. A previous owner probably wanted to wear a fuller crinoline. This is not visible when worn and does not affect the wearability of the dress in any way.
