From the Designer's Shop at Chas. A. Stevens, one of Chicago's fabulous old department stores comes this stunning vintage 1950s cocktail dress.  Fashioned from the palest pink silk taffeta, the bodice front and right hip are accented with ecru corded lace.  Diagonal tucks extend from the right armhole to the left waist and explode into a full poufed drape at the hip.  The dress closes with a center back metal zipper and is completely lined in organza.  Sized for a petite (short) figure.

CONDITION: Very Good – Dress is freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.  There are faint yellow rings at the underarms, worse on the right (shown).  A 2" tear under the bottom tuck at the left hip has been repaired with hand stitches and is not noticeable.
