Why not be a stand-out in red? This vintage late 1950s or very early 60s dress appears to be home sewn, but it is expertly done. It is fashioned of bright red lace layered over white cotton broadcloth, which really makes the pattern of the lace pop. The short sleeves remain sheer. The dress is a basic sheath style and closes at the back with a metal zipper.
