This stunning vintage 1950s dress is perfect for a wedding or a fancy party.  Fashioned of white chiffon that is accented with scallops of white lace, the entire dress is lined in palest lilac-blue taffeta for a slight tinge of color.  The same lilac-blue taffeta forms the wide pleated waistband.  The scallops of lace get gradually larger from the skirt waist to the hem.  The skirt has a layer of white tulle between the outer chiffon and the taffeta lining, and there is a stiff buckram petticoat on the inside for added fullness to the skirt.  The dress closes with a metal zipper at the side and the bodice is completely boned for support.  Note:  We've shown this dress over a full crinoline that is not included.

CONDITION: Excellent – Dress is freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.  The white chiffon is not as bright white as it originally was, but this is not at all noticeable. There are 4 snaps inside the upper edge at the right bust.  This is where a tulle stole would have originally been attached, but that stole is now missing.
