I've never met a Suzy Perette dress that I didn't like, and this one stands out as one of my all-time favorites. Suzy Perette was a New York manufacturer of quality dresses, and their full skirted styles were always great. This vintage 1950s dress is fashioned of lighter-than-air silk shantung in a print of pink roses on a yellow, gray, and cream ground. The bustline is gathered into a bow-like construction and the bodice has princess seaming that flares out into that full, full skirt. The short sleeves are cut-in-one with the bodice and there are underarm gussets for added wearing comfort. The dress closes with a center back metal zipper and is lined from neckline to hips in white taffeta. Note: We've shown this dress over a full crinoline that is not included.
