Bernetti was a New York manufacturer of cocktail dresses and evening gowns in the 50s and 60s. Their specialty was lavish beading and this vintage 1960s cocktail dress is a great example. Fashioned of white crepe, the dress is covered with silver bugle beads. The beads form squiggles on the upper portion of the dress and a wide band of horizontal rows accent the hem and the sleeve cuffs. There is a little rolled collar. The dress closes at the back with a metal zipper and is lined in white taffeta. Original price – $135.00. All sale items are Final Sale with no returns

CONDITION: Very Good – Dress has not been cleaned due to extensive beadwork but is clean and wearable as is. There is a small orangish spot above the right bust. There is yellowing at the underarms of the LINING ONLY that is not visible on the outside of the dress.
