By now, you know I have a thing for vintage tailored suits. This one is from the early 1960’s and was made for R.H. Stearn by Boykoff. It is fashioned from navy wool twill with a pronounced texture to the weave. Topstitching is set a wide 1/2" from the collar, edges, and pockets for an interesting design detail. This suit has 3 pieces: the jacket, a sleeveless top, and a straight skirt. The jacket has 3/4 sleeves and closes with one large button and bound buttonhole at the front waist. The top has a separating metal zipper at the back. The skirt has a set-on waistband and side nylon zipper. All three pieces are completely lined in navy rayon crepe. Note: We love the look of this suit accented with gold jewelry, but the necklaces and pin shown are not included. Original price – $135.00. All sale items are Final Sale with no returns accepted.
