Vintage 60s CHESTER WEINBERG Dress Orange Wool Small bust 36
Chester Weinberg was a high end American designer who started his own label in 1966. You can learn more about him in my blog post here. This dress is from one of his earliest collections. The dress is fashioned of vibrant and heavy orange wool that is woven with a pique texture. The bodice is given a Mod feel with the use of top-stitched seams. The matching belt has a fabulous goldtone buckle centered with a lion's head. The dress closes at the back with a nylon zipper and is lined in orange cotton/poly batiste.
