Count Romi made high quality coats in fashion fabrics that were impervious to all kinds of weather. This vintage late 1960s coat is fashioned from a deep burgundy (darker than the photos) cut velvet stripe. The ad shown is from 1967 and shows a Count Romi coat made in the same fabric that sold for $75 (about $493 in today's dollar). The coat closes with a double row of buttons down the front and bound buttonholes. There is a half belt at the back waist and the long sleeves are raglan cut. It is completely lined in burgundy taffeta.
