These matching dress and coat sets never last too long around here, and this one by Mardi Gras is one of the most gorgeous I've seen in a long while. Dating to the early 1960s, this set is fashioned from vibrant emerald green satin jacquard with a floral pattern in the weave. The cocktail dress has a scoop neckline that drops deeper in the back. The skirt flares slightly and has tucks at the waist for a bit of added ease over the hips. The dress closes with a center back metal zipper and is lined in emerald cotton batiste. The matching swing coat has bell shaped sleeves that mimic the shape of the coat itself. It closes with hidden snaps behind the decorative rhinestone buttons and bound buttonholes. The coat is completely lined in turquoise taffeta for a lovely contrast.

CONDITION: Excellent – The set is freshly
dry cleaned and ready to wear. The rhinestone buttons had a green glaze on them that is starting to come off. Some of the stones are light green, some are clear. All are present and none are darkened.
