SOLD Vintage 60s GINO CHARLES Dress Pink Beaded Small bust 37
The Gino Charles label was established in 1966 and was a collaboration between Teal Traina and Malcolm Starr. This outstanding vintage 60s party dress is fashioned of pale pink silk shantung that is covered in beads and rhinestones. Silver lined clear beads form a clamshell pattern and surround prong set AB rhinestones and dangling crystals. This dress is heavy, weighing nearly 4 pounds! Pink braid accents the neckline and is covered in more beads and crystals. The dress has simple princess seams and closes at the back with a metal zipper. The silk is interlined with stiff cotton for body and the dress is lined in pink taffeta.

CONDITION: Very Good – I have not had this dress cleaned due to the extensive beadwork. If you chose to dry clean, please do so with extreme care. It is clean and wearable as is. There are a few scattered missing rhinestones. There are two areas of missing beads that are not noticeable - one at the top of the left shoulder and the other at the back near the bottom of the zipper. There is some orange spotting at the back waist along the right princess seam.
