Who doesn’t like to shine at night? You’re sure to stand out in this fabulous vintage early 1960s party dress designed by Blauner. The Blauner family owned the Suzy Perette label, and this was one of their labels. Evelyn Dawson was the designer for both lines. This dress is fashioned of sheer black chiffon that is woven with a gold metallic jacquard pattern. The scoop neckline dips lower in the back and the full skirt is pleated onto the waist. The dress closes with a center back metal zipper and the original belt with a bow at the front is included. Note: We’ve shown this dress over a full crinoline that is not included.

CONDITION: Very Good – Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. The dress has been altered by taking out the waist darts at the back. The original needle marks remain in the fabric. The belt has also been altered to let it out by removing the original buckle and snaps. There is a modern hook and eye used to close it, but the belt is still smaller than the dress waist, measuring at most 32 1/2". You could move the hook and gain about 2". And stitched darts have been taken in the front bodice from the neckline to the upper bust. You could remove these, but needle marks may remain. As is normal for this fabric, some gold threads have pulled out of the chiffon backing fabric.
