In the early 1960s, the best beading in the world was coming out of Hong Kong. This dress dates to that time and was made by Haute Couture Int’l in Hong Kong. Fashioned of white silk, the dress is completely covered in beads and sequins in pastel green and pink. It is a basic sheath shape and comes with a matching cord belt that is also covered in sequins. The dress closes at the back with a metal zipper and is completely lined in white China silk.

CONDITION: Very Good – The dress has been altered by taking a tuck at the tops of the shoulders. The sleeves have also been altered by shortening them. Neither of these alterations affects the wearability of the dress. They are worked with hand stitches, so could easily be removed, if desired.
