This cute mid 1960s shift dress is an early Lilly Pulitzer, made at the time when she was still using 100% cotton fabrics for her designs. This dress is fashioned from cotton pique with a waffle texture. The colors are pink, purple, blue, green, and orange. Rather than the Lilly name hidden in the design, this print has Lilly Pulitzer Inc. written within the print. The dress has a small stand-away collar and short cap sleeves. There are horizontal pockets at the hips. The dress closes with a center back metal zipper and is lined in pink cotton broadcloth.
