Morty Sussman was the designer at Jobere, a New York cocktail dress manufacturer from about 1962-68. Before joining Jobere, he was a house designer for Lord & Taylor. He left Jobere to design Molly Parnis’ Boutique line which debuted in 1969. This stunning vintage mid 1960s Mod era dress by Jobere was sold at the exclusive La Bianca boutique on 57th St. in New York. It is fashioned from rayon crepe in a vivid neon green. The bodice has a slight blouson shape over the fitted waist with an attached self sash belt and bow. The outer straight skirt floats over a lining layer that has a full ruffle attached at the hem. The dress closes with a center back metal zipper and is lined in batiste. There is an inner grosgrain waist stay.  Original price – $175.00. All sale items are Final Sale with no returns accepted.
