This vintage 60s Mod era suit was custom tailored in Hong Kong by Emperor and is a fine example of what milady could pick up on her trip to Asia for a new wardrobe in the late 1960s. Fashioned of the brightest neon pink silk shantung, both pieces are accented with topstitching to great effect. The shift style dress has a dropped waistline that is accented with an attached decorative belt. The scoop neckline sits wide on the shoulders. The dress closes with a hand stitched center back nylon zipper. The matching hip length jacket closes with big braided buttons and bound buttonholes that are set on the diagonal. Both pieces are completely lined in matching neon pink China silk. The jacket lining is accented with prairie points along the edges.

CONDITION: Very Good – There is very slight fading to the right sleeve and right side front of the jacket. There is a 1/2" orangish spot on the front skirt of the dress and another mark at the front hem. None of these issues is noticeable due to the bright color of the silk. I had to enhance the photo so you could see the fading. It is not this visible to the naked eye. Price reflects condition.
