Vintage 60s Mod Lace & Paillettes Babydoll Party Dress Small bust 36"

One of my favorite things about vintage is the unusual fabrics and trims you find. I fell in love with this vintage 1960s cocktail dress by Lord & Taylor at first sight because of the rectangular white paillette sequins that adorn the beige cotton lace. This dress is a babydoll style and the lace layer floats over a more fitted lining of beige satin backed crepe. The sleeves remain sheer and also have the paillette sequins at the cuffs. The underdress closes with a nylon zipper at the back and the lace layer closes over it with hooks and eyes. The paillette section at the hem of the dress is lined in taffeta.
