Vintage 60s Mod Op Art Cotton Pique Coat Small bust 36

Bright orange and yellow with pops of blue and green form a geometric op art print in this vintage 1960’s coat. Fashioned of cotton pique with a diamond pattern in the weave, this coat closes at the front with a double row of brass buttons and bound buttonholes. There are hidden in-seam pockets at the hips and a half belt decorates the back. The coat is lined in light yellow taffeta. CONTENTS & CARE: No labels – Cotton – Dry clean – Comes to you freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear COAT MEASUREMENTS: Bust – 36” Waist – 32" Hips – 38" Length – 34 1/2” Sleeve length – 20 1/2" Shoulder to shoulder – 15" Will this coat fit you? Allow enough ease to wear over other garments! CONDITION: Good – The cotton pique fabric has a jersey knit backing fused to it that holds the 3 dimensional diamond pattern of fabric in place. That knit backing has a large tear in at at the back waist of the coat which has caused the pique pattern to flatten with pressing. This makes slight ripples in the outer cotton fabric. The tear in the jersey backing is not visible from the outside, but you can see it through the lining in that photo. There is a 1" white line in the outside of the right sleeve above the elbow.
