SOLD Vintage 60s Silk Organza Roses Full Skirt Dress Small bust 34
My immediate thought on seeing this dress was "Betty Draper from Mad Men!", and this is exactly the type of dress she would wear. This vintage early 1960s dress is fashioned of sheer silk organza in a gorgeous print of large pink roses that is layered over a natural cotton muslin lining. The bodice is fitted and has thin spaghetti straps. There is a green velvet bow with long streamers at the front waist. The skirt flares out from waist to hem and has deep inverted pleats at the center front and back. There is an attached netting petticoat for added fullness. The dress closes with a center back metal zipper.

CONDITION: Good – Dress is freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. There are two small 1/8" holes in the silk organza at the upper left bust. These do not show, as they are in the white portion of the print. There is a split in the silk at the back right dart. This can be repaired by taking in the dart just a bit, if desired. The silk has split at the tops of the shoulder straps from hanging for years. There is slight darkening at the underarms, worse on the left side (shown). Price reflects condition and dress should be worn with care.
SHIPPING: Shipping cost for this dress is $11.00 in the US and $21.00 international.
