Adolfo started as a milliner, but by 1962 he was designing his own line of clothes and he loved to work with knits. This early 1970s maxi dress by Adolfo for Saks Fifth Avenue is fashioned of a Santana knit in bright yellow. The bodice and sleeves are rib knit which gives way to a flat knit below the bust. The dress has a row of buttons and loops at the front which can be buttoned all the way up or left partially unbuttoned, as shown. Unlined. Note: You are seeing a change in color at the bottom of our dress form. The dress itself is all one color.
