Giorgio di Sant’Angelo was a contemporary of Yves St. Laurent who became famous when Diana Vreeland chose him to design clothing for Veruschka in 1968. This is one of Sant’Angelo’s iconic designs from the 1970s that combines a bodysuit with a wrap skirt in one garment and is a highly desirable, rare collectible piece. Fashioned of lycra knit in a bright geometric print, the bodice and sleeves feature pieced solid bands in yellow, turquoise, and black. The long sleeves are bell shaped. The long skirt wraps to the front and is edged in black binding. The bodysuit snaps at the crotch. There is a hand stitched nylon zipper at the left shoulder seam. Unlined. Original price – $695.00. CONDITION: Very Good – There is some color transfer of the print at the front opening of the wrap skirt from storage. It is located at about hip level, 13"-14" down from the point of the turquoise band. This is likely permanent. There are a couple of unnoticable tiny picks in the knit. The crotch has shortened by taking a tuck and sewing it with horizontal seams. This can be let back down, if needed and is not noticeable.
SHIPPING: Shipping cost for this dress is $15.00 in the US and $27.00 international.
