Goldworm was a knitwear company that did a series of dresses based upon famous paintings in the early 1970s. This dress features an allover print that is a copy of Henri Matisse’s “Interior in Aubergines” (shown in last photo). Fashioned of wool jersey knit, Goldworm worked this dress in bright reds and blue with black and yellow. The dress features a keyhole opening at the front neckline and long sleeves. It closes at the back with a nylon zipper and is unlined. The dress was originally sold by Bergdorf Goodman.
