This stunning set by London designer Jean Muir was sold by high end Dallas store Lou Lattimore. Dating to the late 1970s, it is fashioned of fluid silk in navy blue with small polka dots in pinks, greens, and tans. The seams are topstitched in double rows of green thread. The blouse has full 3/4 sleeves with pleats at the top and 1/2" shoulder pads. It has a fitted waistband with a pleated peplum below that. Pleats also extend up into the body of the blouse from the waistband. It closes at the front with buttons. The skirt has a set-on waistband and side nylon zipper. There are inserts at the front and back with unpressed pleats for a bit of fullness. Both pieces are unlined.
