These dress and coat sets from the 1960s are so versatile and lady-like. Wear the two pieces together, or mix-and-match them with others from your wardrobe. This set dates to the early 1970s and is fashioned of polyester double knit. The dress is of solid bright orange polyester jersey knit. Angled seams from the armholes to the waist connect at the center front seam of the skirt. There is a 6" slit at the front hem. The dress closes at the back with a nylon zipper and is unlined. The original 3" wide belt closes at the front or back with buttons and loops. The coat is fashioned of polyester double knit in an orange and white floral pattern that emulates brocade. The coat closes with 3 buttons and loops at the front waist and has deep fold-back cuffs on the sleeves. The coat neckline is a funnel shape. It is completely lined in orange taffeta.
