Her clothing was always elegant and wearable, and she was known for designing with unusual textiles or adding something unexpected to her garments. This gorgeous vintage 1970s dress was sold by high end store Stanley Korshak. It is fashioned from a deep forest green silk chiffon printed with orange and purple flowers. The fabric is then embroidered with dark green and silver metallic threads. The dress is fitted through the torso and soft unpressed pleats open below the darts at the hips in front and back. The front neckline sits high on the neck. The long sleeves are full to below the elbow, then are fitted to the wrist and close with short zippers at the inner cuff. The dress closes with a center back nylon zipper. The outer silk fabric is interlined with tan silk chiffon and a second layer of tan silk chiffon forms a separate lining.</p>
