<p>A wonderful bright red wool topper coat that is perfect to throw on over anything in all seasons. This coat by Pauline Trigere dates to about 1989-90 and is from one of her last lines before she retired in 1992. There are two similar coats with the same tucks shown in the Kent State website archives of Trigere’s original sketches. It bears her own label, not the less expensive licensed line. This is a simple top coat with no closures and no lining. It can be worn belted or open. The front opening edges, neckline, and pockets are all adorned with three tucks that form an interesting edge. <p><span class="caps">CONDITION</span>: Excellent – When I got this coat there was a piece of candy inside the right pocket that had melted over the years. My dry cleaner was able to get most of it out. There is still a bit of residue in the bottom of the pocket, but it should continue to disappear with further cleanings. You can see just a hint of it under the bottom of the pocket edge, but this is not visible when worn.</p>
