This vintage Polo Ralph Lauren western style belt dates to the 1980s, possibly the late 70s.  Fashioned of genuine American alligator in a warm brown color, the elaborate buckle and belt tip are of sterling silver.  Marked a size 32, this belt can be worn by a man or woman.  Measures 37" from end to end x 1" wide.  There are 7 holes and the belt adjusts from 28" - 34" depending on which hole you use.  The sterling buckle and belt tip retain the original patina and have not been polished.  Excellent condition with normal wear.  The alligator is soft and supple with no splits or cracks.  The buckle prong is short and does slip through the buckle if not worn correctly.  It appears that this is original.  I don't see any bends or breaks in it.
