Incredible. That’s the only word I need to describe this vintage 1980s evening gown by Victor Costa. Fashioned of cream silk chiffon woven with shimmering gold and silver metallic threads, the strapless bodice is ruched, goddess style. The ruching curves over the bust and then falls at a slight angle to the asymmetric waistline. There is a pouf of fabric that falls into a full drape at the right waist. The drape hides a 20" slit at the right side seam hem. The dress closes with a side nylon zipper and the bodice is fully boned for support. Lined in cream silky polyester.
