Bill Blass shows his genius here in the juxtaposition of fabric and silhouette. This is a vintage early 1990s power suit from the high end Blass runway line (not a licensed product). It is fashioned of a lightweight and fluid twill fabric in navy blue with woven white pinstripes that emulates denim but is much more formal. The edges of the jacket are accented with blanket stitch embroidery worked in thin white cord. The cut of the suit is fitted to the body with a strong shoulder line. The sleeves have fold-back cuffs. The jacket closes with three clear plastic buttons at the front. The straight skirt has a grosgrain faced waistband and side nylon zipper. Both pieces are completely lined in navy silk.  Original price – $195.00. All sale items are Final Sale with no returns accepted.
