Bill Blass was one of America's favorite designers and I mourn the loss of the label, which was closed in 2009.  This evening ensemble by Blass dates to the 1990s and is perfect for a holiday party.  You can also mix and match the two pieces with others in your wardrobe for even more possibilities!  The metallic lace camisole is simply stunning.  The lace is woven from metallic threads in gold, green, red and lilac.  It is lined in nude color silk chiffon and has tiny nude color spaghetti straps.  It buttons at the back.with self-fabric buttons and cord loops.  The matching skirt is fashioned from two layers of deep red silk chiffon lined with matching silk crepe.  This is a simple straight skirt with a front drape that falls from the left side.  The skirt has a set-on waistband and closes at the back with an invisible nylon zipper.  The Blass label is found only in the skirt, but the two pieces were found together on one hanger and they match perfectly, so I am fairly certain the camisole is also a Blass piece.

CONDITION: Excellent – Freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. There are a couple of virtually invisible water marks on the skirt front that you will not be able to see unless you are looking closely for them.  These would not show up in photos and I only mention them so you will be aware.
