This vintage late 80s or early 90s cocktail dress by Oscar de la Renta bears his highest label.  Oscar loved to use black lace and this dress is a superb example of his work.

• Dress is fashioned of black corded Alencon lace.
• Lining is two layers of silk organza, one black, one nude.
• Lining is fitted to the body with a bustier bodice and slim skirt.  Black lace floats over the lining.
• The skirt is slim in front and has two fully gathered tiers in the back.
• Each tier has wide horsehair braid and gathered tulle to support it underneath.
• Long sheer sleeves.
• Dress closes at the back with a hand stitched nylon zipper and tiny cord ties.
• May have had shoulder pads at one time, but this if so they are gone.
