Every spring, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston hosts an “Art in Bloom” weekend when local florists are invited to design arrangements to compliment the art on display in the museum. This vintage scarf by Alfred Fiandaca, a Boston couturier, was designed for the Museum of Fine Arts for one of the “Art in Bloom” weekends. Probably a limited edition, I’m sure this scarf was retired as soon as the museum ran out. The design is of a large scale bouquet of tulips with a swirling ribbon. The colors are hot pink and vibrant yellow on blue. Measures 41" square and has hand rolled edges. Near mint condition. Comes to you freshly dry cleaned.
