In the late 1950s, Oriental silk jacquards fabrics were all the rage. This dress was custom made for the original owner by a seamstress named Ruby Sexton. Fashioned of a luxurious silk satin jacquard in pink, the dress is very fitted to the body and has simple lines. A wide band of fabric at the hem has a bow detail at the front. The dress closes at the side with a hand stitched metal zipper and is completely lined in pink silky rayon. The original pink leather belt is included.

CONDITION: Very Good – Dress is freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear. There is a 1" faint yellow spot below the front left waist that did not respond to cleaning. This is barely noticeable.
